Your school website can show your notices, your teachers, your job openings and your school calendar. You do not type them twice. They come straight from EduHost, so the site stays up to date when you work in the app.
How it works
- Notices, jobs and calendar follow their module. What you add in the app is what the site shows. If a module is not on for your school, its section has nothing to show.
- Teachers are chosen one by one. You decide for each staff member if they appear on the site.
Show notices on the site
- Open Notices in the sidebar.
- Post your notice as usual.
- Open your website to check that the notice is there.
Show teachers on the site
- Go to Staff → Directory.
- Open the staff member you want to show.
- Turn on the option to show this person on the school website.
- Press Save.
- Do the same for each teacher. To hide someone, turn the option off.
Show job openings on the site
- Go to Staff → Careers.
- Add a job opening.
- The opening shows on the jobs page of your website. People can apply from there.
Show the calendar on the site
- Open Calendar in the sidebar.
- Add your holidays and events.
- They show on the calendar of your website.
Good to know
- To change how these sections look, see Edit your school website.
- Job applications from the site reach you in Staff → Careers.
- Messages from contact forms are a different thing. See Read messages from your website.
- If a section is empty on the site, first check that you have added something in its module.
