Mark who came to work each day, for all teachers and staff. The marks feed the monthly register and, if your school uses it, loss of pay in payroll.
Mark today's attendance
- Open Staff → Attendance. The Mark view opens.
- Check the date at the top right. Click it to pick another day.
- Click Mark all present to start with everyone present.
- For anyone who is not present, click Mark absent, or click their status to choose Late, Half day or Leave.
- Click Save attendance.
The cards at the top show Total staff, Present, Absent, Late and Attendance % for the day.
See the month
- On the same page, click Register.
- Pick the Month.
- Each person has one row with a letter for each day and their attendance % at the end. A % below 75 shows in red.
Add holidays
- Click Holidays.
- Pick the Date and type the Holiday name, for example Independence Day.
- Click Add holiday.
Holidays don't count in staff attendance %.
Good to know
- The In / Out column shows clock-in and clock-out times. Below the time it says how the mark came in, for example Phone (location) or Biometric machine. See Let staff clock in from their phone.
- When salary for a month is already paid, the days in that month can only be viewed. Put any correction in next month's payroll.
- A half day counts as half a day present.
- The list covers everyone on staff, teachers included. If it is empty, add staff in the Directory first.
- Staff can see their own attendance in My HR.
