Use this when you need a student's record fast, for example when a parent calls or comes to the office. You can search from any page, or open the full student list and filter it by class.

Search from any page

  1. Click the search box at the top of the screen. It says Search students, staff, pages…
  2. Type at least 2 letters of the student's name, or type their roll number or admission number.
  3. Look under Students in the results. Each student shows their roll number.
  4. Click the student to open their profile.

You can also try the parent's mobile number. If it finds nothing, search by the child's name instead.

Use the student list and filters

  1. Go to Students → All students.
  2. Choose a class in the class filter. It starts as All classes.
  3. Choose a section in the section filter. It starts as All sections.
  4. Find the student in the list and open their profile.
  5. To see every student again, click Clear filters.

See the whole family

  1. Open the student's profile.
  2. Look at the guardian details. These show the parents or guardians linked to this child.
  3. Check if brothers or sisters at your school are shown with the family. This helps when one parent pays fees or asks about more than one child.

Good to know

  • Search also finds staff and app pages, so check you are looking under Students.
  • Students who have left are kept in the alumni register, not with current students.
  • To find a student from an old year, change the academic year at the top. A past year is read-only.
  • You only see pages your role allows. If you cannot open the student list, ask your school admin.
  • To add, move or archive students, see Add a new student and Move, archive or remove students.
