EduHost keeps a discipline and conduct log for each student. Use it to write down incidents, warnings or good behaviour, so the school has one clear record for that child.
Before you start
- The student must already be added in EduHost. If not, see Add a new student.
- Your role must be allowed to open student records. If you see the message This page isn't part of your role, ask your school admin.
Steps
- In the sidebar, open Students → All students.
- Find the student. You can search by name, roll number or admission number. For more help, see Find a student or a whole family.
- Open the student's profile.
- Go to the part of the profile for discipline and conduct notes.
- Choose to add a new note.
- Fill in the details the form asks for. Write what happened in short, clear words.
- Click Save.
The note now stays on the student's record. You can open the same part of the profile later to read all notes for that student.
Tips for writing a good note
- Write only facts: what happened and when. Avoid opinions.
- Use simple words, so another teacher or the principal can understand it later.
- Write the note on the same day, while you remember clearly.
- You can also record good behaviour, not only problems.
Good to know
- Conduct notes are part of the student's record. Treat them as private school information.
- Who can add or read these notes depends on the permissions your school admin gives each role under Roles & Permissions.
- If a family asks to change details on the student's profile, that is a different task. See Handle correction and leave requests from parents.
