EduHost keeps two kinds of records for every staff member: the training they attend, and their safety checks (police verification and psychometric evaluation). Use this to stay ready for an inspection or a board visit.
Add a training programme
- Open Staff and click the person's name to open their profile.
- Find the Training card and click Add training.
- Fill in Programme (its name), Run by, Kind and Hours.
- Choose the From date, and the To date if it ran for more than one day.
- Click Save training.
For Kind, choose In-house or School Complex or CBSE or government institute. Hours must be more than 0 and at most 200.
Record a safety check
- On the same profile, go to the Documents card and click Add.
- In What is it, choose Police verification or Psychometric evaluation.
- Fill in the Number, Issued by, Issued on and, for police verification, Expires on. Attach the scanned paper if you have it.
- Save. The Safety checks card now shows the check as done.
See everyone at once
- Open Staff → Safety & training.
- The table shows each person's in-house, external and total hours for this school year.
- Use the export button to download the list.
Good to know
- For CBSE schools, EduHost shows a yearly target of 50 hours for teachers and a Short by column. You can change the number in Hours a year and click Save, or go back with Use CBSE's 50.
- For CBSE schools, a missing or expired check shows as Not done or Expired, and a red shield appears next to the name in the Directory. Other schools just see what is on file.
- Keep each training certificate under Documents too.
- Staff can see their own training in My HR.
