When your school is hiring, add the post in EduHost. People can read it and apply, with their CV, from your school website. Every application then waits for you in one list.
Add a job opening
- Open Staff → Careers.
- Click Add job opening.
- Type the Post name, for example Maths teacher (TGT). This is the only field you must fill.
- Choose the Kind of post, Full or part time and How many people.
- Add Subjects and classes, Qualification needed, Experience needed and About the job if you want.
- Fill Pay only if you want it shown on the website. Leave it empty to keep it private.
- Set a Last date to apply, or leave it empty to take applications until you close the post.
- Under Status, choose Open, Draft or Closed.
- Keep Show on website ticked, then click Save.
Show it on your website
Your website needs a Careers section on one of its pages. Add it once in your website editor. After that, every open post with Show on website ticked appears there with an Apply form.
Handle applications
- Click See applications on a post, or open the Applications tab.
- Click Open on a row to see the applicant.
- Use Call, WhatsApp or Open CV at the top.
- Under Move to, tap the step: New, Shortlisted, Interview, Offered, Hired or Not selected.
- Write the interview date or other points in Notes and click Save notes.
Good to know
- A post shows on the website only while it is Open, ticked for the website, and before its last date.
- Click Close on a post card to stop new applications. Click Open to start again.
- Deleting a post takes it off the website, but its applications stay.
- New applications also appear in the bell.
- Use Delete application only for spam or a mistake.
