Open the Logs page to check student imports and other big jobs done in your school in the last 90 days.
Getting startedUpdated 17 Oct 20261 min read
The Logs page keeps a record of imports and other operations done across your school. Use it when you want to check that a big job finished, or to find out what happened during an import.
Before you start
- You need a role that can open the Logs page. If you see the message This page isn't part of your role, ask your school admin. They can change what your role can do under Roles & Permissions.
- Logs are kept for 90 days. Older entries are not shown.
Steps
- Sign in to EduHost.
- In the sidebar, find the Settings group.
- Click Logs.
- Read the list of imports and operations.
- Open an entry to see more about it.
- To see the newest entries, click Refresh.
What you may see
- An entry for each student import or other operation run in your school.
- For some entries, details shown under Row, Student and Reason. These help you see which line of your file had a problem and why.
- If nothing has been done yet, the page says No logs yet. Import students or run an operation, and it will appear here.
Good to know
- The page shows imports and operations. It is not a full record of every small edit made by every user.
- If an import went wrong, fix the problem lines in your file and import again.
- To give someone access to this page, see Add users and assign roles.
- Parents and students cannot see this page.
