Create bills

A bill tells a family how much fee they must pay. Use this page when you want to bill one student, or make bills for many students at once.

Before you start

• Set up your fees first in Fees → Fee setup. This holds your fee heads, fee structures and instalments.
• Make sure your students are added and placed in their classes.

Bill one student

1. Open the Quick add menu at the top of the app.
2. Choose Raise invoice. This lets you bill a student for any amount.
3. Fill in the details the form asks for.
4. Save the bill.

Bill many students at once (a bill run)

A bill run makes bills for a group of students in one go.

1. Go to Fees → Bills.
2. Start a new set of bills using the option on this page.
3. Choose who to bill and what to bill for, as the screen asks.
4. Check the details carefully.
5. Confirm to make the bills.

See past bill runs

1. Go to Fees → Bill history.
2. You will see the bill runs your school has made.

Undo a bill run

If you made a bill run by mistake, you can undo it.

1. Go to Fees → Bill history.
2. Find the run you want to remove.
3. Use the undo option for that run.
4. Confirm when the app asks.

Good to know

• EduHost can also make bills on its own if your school has turned on auto-billing.
• If your school uses the parent portal, parents see their bills under Fees in Bills to pay.
• If you cannot open these pages, ask your school admin. They can change what your role can do in Roles & Permissions.
