This article shows how a student sits an online test in EduHost. Share it with students, or use it to help them on the day of the test.
Before you start
- The student needs a student login. If they do not have one, the school office gives it to them.
- The test must be published by the teacher. To make one, see Create an online test.
- A test can only be started between its open and close times.
Steps
- Open your school's student login page.
- Choose the Student tab.
- Type your admission number, mobile number or email in Admission no., mobile or email.
- Type your Password and press Sign in.
- If this is your first time, the app asks you to Set a new password. Type it twice and press Save and continue.
- Go to Online tests.
- Find your test. It must say Open now.
- Press Start.
- Answer each question. For some questions you choose all that apply. For others, you type in Write your answer.
- When you finish, press Hand in, then Hand in the paper.
Good to know
- Every answer is saved as you give it. If the page closes, open the test again and press Carry on. Your time keeps running while you are away.
- When less than a minute is left, the app warns you.
- If the time runs out, the paper is handed in for you. You will see Time is up.
- A test that says Opens later is not open yet. Closed means the time to take it is over.
- After handing in, the student either sees their score, or sees that the teacher will release the marks. This depends on the teacher's setting. See Mark online tests and see scores.
- Forgot the password? If you sign in with a mobile number, the school office can set a new password.
