Use this page when a family asks for a bonafide, character or migration certificate. You can issue the certificate, print it, and set one design for the whole school.
Steps to issue a certificate
- In the sidebar, open Certificates.
- Go to the Issue part of the page.
- In Student, find and pick the student.
- In Certificate type, choose bonafide, character or migration from Select type.
- Check the Next number. This is the number the certificate will get.
- Press Issue.
- Press Print to print the certificate or save it.
The certificate shows the student's Admission No:, Roll No:, Class: and Guardian:, with a Code: that others can use to check it.
Set how certificates look
- In Certificates, go to Design.
- Fill in School name, Affiliation line, Logo URL and Signatory (for example, Principal / Authorised Signatory).
- Choose the Theme, Accent, Font, Border, Header and Format you like.
- Save your changes. To start again, press Reset to defaults.
Cancel a certificate given by mistake
- Find the certificate under Recently issued.
- Press Cancel and give the reason, for example Issued in error / student returned.
- The certificate now shows Cancelled · not valid. If you cancelled the wrong one, press Restore.
Good to know
- The design is school-wide. Every staff member who issues a certificate gets the same look.
- Transfer certificates have their own steps. See Issue a transfer certificate (TC).
- To let others check a certificate is real, see Let others verify a certificate online.
