The RTE quota page shows the children your school has admitted under the RTE 25% quota. Use it to check their papers and to follow the money your school claims back from the government for each child.
Before you start
- A child must already be on the RTE roll to show on this page. If no child is on it yet, the page says No children on the RTE roll yet.
- If you cannot open the page, your role may not include it. Ask your school admin. They can change this under Roles & Permissions.
Steps
- In the sidebar, open RTE quota. The page is called RTE 25% quota.
- Look at the Children list. Each row is one child on the RTE roll.
- Check Papers verified to see if the child's papers have been checked.
- Check the Application no. for each child. This number comes From the state portal.
- Look at Due for the year. This is the amount the school can claim for the child this year.
- Compare Claimed and Received to see how much you asked for and how much has come in.
What the labels mean
- Never claimed: you have not asked for this money yet.
- Claimed, not received: you asked for the money and are still waiting. The app suggests a phone call for these.
- Some of these children were billed at full price.: a child was billed the full fee. Then the ledger records no cost to claim back. Check that child's bills with your accountant.
- If a child shows the note about UDISE+, that child is left out of the yearly UDISE+ return. Fix the missing detail so the child is counted.
Good to know
- To follow new families before they join, see Track admission enquiries.
- To let parents apply from your website, see Open online admission on your website.
