Open online admission on your website
Let parents apply for admission online, share an application link, and set a registration fee paid online or at the counter.
Use this when you want parents to apply for admission from your school website. You can also send one family a private link to fill in the application, and ask for a registration fee.
Before you start
- Decide which classes are taking new children.
- Decide if you want a registration fee, and how much.
- Parents can pay the fee online only if online payment is set up for your school. If it is not, they pay at the school office.
Open the online form
- In the sidebar, open Admissions.
- Open Online form. If you see Set up online form, click it.
- Turn on Accept applications online.
- Under Which classes take applications, tick the classes. Click Select all to choose every class.
- Write a Message at the top of the form.
- Write a Message after they apply, for example when you will call them.
- Under Papers to upload, add each paper parents must upload. Type its Name of the paper.
- Type the Registration fee (₹). Leave it at 0 if you do not want a fee.
- Use Preview to check What parents see.
- Click Save.
Share the form with parents
The setup page shows the form link under Share this link with parents (WhatsApp, SMS, posters). Click Copy to copy it. Parents can also use Scan to open with their phone camera, which is handy on a poster.
Send one family their own link
- Open the family's enquiry in Admissions.
- Find Application form. It shows Not submitted until they fill it.
- Click Copy invite link, Email link or WhatsApp to send it.
Registration fee
Parents pay the fee online, or you take it at the counter. You can see it under Payments and receipts in the enquiry. To let a family off, click Waive fee and add a Reason for waiving (optional). Click Remove waiver to undo it.
Good to know
- When the form is off, parents see Online admissions are closed right now and are asked to contact the school office.
- Permission line parents must tick is required by the DPDP Act. Leave it empty to use the standard wording.
- Every application comes in as an enquiry. See Track admission enquiries and RTE quota admissions.
