Parents can follow their child's school life in the EduHost app or the parent portal on the web. Use this page when a parent asks what they can see, or how to pay fees from home.

Before you start

  • The school gives each parent a login. They sign in with the mobile number or email the school gave them.
  • On first sign-in, the parent must change the temporary password and choose their own.
  • If a parent has more than one child at the school, they pick the child at the top, under Which child?

What parents see

  • Fees: bills to pay, the amount due, due dates and their receipts.
  • Attendance: each day marked as present, absent, late, half day, leave or holiday, with a count for the month.
  • Homework: work set by teachers and the due date. If your school allows it, the child's work can be sent from here as a photo or PDF.
  • Results: exam results, only after the school publishes them.
  • Notices: notices the school puts on the board for parents.
  • Messages from school: messages the school sends to the family.

Parents may also see the Class diary, Timetable, Leave and Profile, depending on what your school uses.

How a parent pays fees

  1. Sign in to the app or the parent portal.
  2. Pick the child, if there is more than one.
  3. Open Fees.
  4. Under Bills to pay, tap the pay button next to the bill. It shows the word Pay and the amount.
  5. Finish the payment by UPI, card or net banking.
  6. When the payment goes through, the bill shows Paid. The receipt is under Receipts.

Good to know

  • Online payment works only after your school has set it up. Until then, parents see a note asking them to pay at the school office.
  • Fee money goes straight to the school's own bank account.
  • If your school holds results for unpaid fees, the parent sees the amount due. Once they pay it, the result opens straight away.
  • If a part is not used by your school, parents see Not available at your school right now.
  • If a parent cannot see their child, read A parent can't see their child. For the student's own login, read What students see.
